API Delevan Announces the Launch of the C0603 Series of Wirewound Chip Inductors for use in Commercial Applications

East Aurora, NY, June 23, 2016: API Delevan has extended its 0603-sized family of wirewound, surface-mount chip inductors with the release of the C0603 series for use in commercial applications.

Manufactured and tested in the USA, the C0603 inductors feature ultra-high Self Resonant Frequencies (SRF) and high Q factors for stable inductor functionality into the multi-GHz range. The C0603 series offers SRF ranging from 600 MHz to 8500 MHz over an inductance range of 1.6 nH to 390 nH and improved minimum Q factor values from 40 to 13.

Designed with gold plated nickel terminations, high-temperature ceramic cores and magnet wire for excellent temperature stability and mechanical ruggedness, the new C0603 inductors are rated for an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +125 °C and are AEC-Q200 Grade 1 compliant.
