Exemplary Service Through Live Online Support

One recent correspondence started with a customer using our Live Online Technical Support and ended with API Delevan creating a custom-engineered sample so the customer could test it at their location.

The customer recently logged onto the online support (see the example below) so they could interact with a live technical support representative at API Delevan. The representative corresponded with the customer through the live online chat feature and later continued to help the customer through phone and e-mail contact.

API Delevan designed a custom-engineered sample and shipped it to the customer so they could evaluate the finished product. API Delevan is looking forward to supporting their prototype & their eventual production needs.

16:55:07 API Rep: Our best suggestion would be to look at our power series PTHF. Specifically, the higher values and doing a combination of series and parallel. However, you are looking at using a lot of board space.

16:55:58 Customer: What are the part numbers?
16:56:07 API Rep: Or, another option is looking into designing a custom part
16:56:46 Customer: Okay. Can you provide me with part numbers so I can evaluate the size? I'll probably end up with a custom part.
16:58:21 API Rep: I am thinking around the PTHF100-894 (100uH 7 A) or the PTHF150-894 (150uh 6A).
16:59:07 API Rep: The final circuit, unfortunately, won't be 3 inductors in parallel.
16:59:44 Customer: Two of the 100uH would only give me 14A and three of the 150uH will only be 18... what did you have in mind.
16:59:46 API Rep: If you would like, I can talk to our power guy Monday (he is out today) and see if he can come up with a better solution.
17:00:02 Customer: Sure.
17:00:12 Customer: I am ready to head home anyway.
17:00:37 API Rep: I have your contact information. I will talk to him Monday AM.
