API Delevan Achieves AS9100-2004 Certification

API Delevan, the largest manufacturer of surface mount and thru-hole inductors, chokes, and coils in the United States, announces that the company has achieved AS9100-2004 Certification, the newest and highest level of quality system operating standards. The new AS9100-2004 standard is based on ISO 9001:2000, the primary quality system used in most industries, but with nearly 100 additional requirements specific to the aerospace industry.

AS9100 is rapidly becoming a prerequisite for doing business, as many aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) only work with suppliers that are certified to the standard. Many International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) member companies have also deployed these standards within their own organizations.
